1. Introduction
BeachTravels Sweden AB ("we", "us") operates the BeachTravels mobile app and related services for participants of our beach volleyball training camps. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. What we collect
- Name – to identify you to coaches, teammates, and fellow campers.
- Email address – for account access and essential communication.
- Date of birth (optional) – for age-based tournament categories.
- Training group / skill level – assigned by our coaches before each camp.
- App content you create – matches you join, partner ads, chat messages, court reservations, and tournament registrations.
- Push notification token – if you grant permission, so we can notify you about matches, schedule changes, and messages.
- Device and usage information – device type, OS version, and app logs used for debugging and abuse prevention.
4. Legal basis
We process your personal data to perform our contract with you (your camp booking) and on the basis of your consent when you create an account in the app (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
5. How we use your data
- Provide your personalized training schedule, matchmaking, court reservations, and tournament signups.
- Enable chat with coaches, teammates, and partner search.
- Send push notifications about matches, schedule changes, and camp-wide announcements.
- Operate, maintain, and improve the app.
6. Sharing
We never sell your personal data. We only share data with:
- Other camp participants – your name and training-group level are visible to fellow campers so that matchmaking and tournaments work.
- Technical service providers – hosting (Microsoft Azure), push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), and error tracking. These processors only handle data on our instructions.
7. Retention
Account data is kept for as long as you have an active BeachTravels account. After a camp ends, match and chat history are retained for up to 12 months for support purposes. You can request deletion at any time.
8. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email ask@beachtravels.se or use our account deletion form.
9. Children
BeachTravels is intended for adult camp participants. Minors may only use the app when registered by a parent or guardian as part of a family booking.
